Charles and Camilla to plead forgiveness (Go To Top)

     London: Prince Charles and Camilla will be reading the strongest act of penitence from the 1662 Book of Common Prayer and plead for forgiveness for their 'sins and wickedness". According to The Sun, the couple will go for the harder version of the act of penitence for the divorcees re-marrying, in a bid to convince the people who feel their affair led to the break- down of Prince Charles' first marriage. Over 100 million people will watch the big day , as Archbishop Dr Rowan Williams will bless and invite the couple and congregation to acknowledge the act.

Britney and hubby on verge of separation (Go To Top)

     New York: Britney Spears and husband Kevin Federline might be going to hold the premiere of their UPN reality show next month, but if rumours are to be believed, they might separate before that. According to New York Post, this was sparked when the couple stayed in separate rooms at the Fairmont Miramar Hotel in Santa Monica. "They moved into the hotel because their house in Malibu is being renovated. But Britney stayed in the main building and Kevin stayed in the bungalows. They were not together at all the entire week. They called their family in for an emergency meeting. They are having serious issues, and the families were called to try and help them work it out," an insider was quoted as saying.

Shar Jackson blames herself for Federline's marriage to Spears (Go To Top)

     London: Actress Shar Jackson has said that she blames herself for her split with ex-boyfriend Kevin Federline and his marriage to Britney Spears. The former "Moesha" star was six months pregnant with Federline's second child when she got to know of Federline's affair with Spears. Jackson, however, admits that she had urged dancer Federline to go to Los Angeles in order to find work after she became fed up of supporting him. "Ironically, I was the one who said, 'Hey dude, you need to get a job. The thing where I'm the only one with an income is not going to work'", Femalefirst quoted her as saying to Star magazine. Federline moved to Los Angeles for auditions in 2004, met Spears and eventually married her in September. "I was hurt really, really bad. It was the stupidest thing to think that Kevin would leave me when I'm six months pregnant with his baby. I just couldn't believe it", she added.

Denzel Washington returns to Broadway (Go To Top)

     London: Theatre seems to be Denzel Washington's first love for he has returned to Broadway after a break of nearly two decades in a modern production of Shakespeare's classic, Julius Caesar. According to Hello magazine, he will play Marcus Brutus for the updated production of the 400-year-old tale set in post- apocalyptic Rome. "I doubt that Brutus, the tragic hero that Washington plays, has looked better or exuded more physical charisma than he does here," an insider was quoted as saying.

Robert Redford's horse act for 'Charlotte's Web' (Go To Top)

     Washington: Robert Redford is all set to lend his voice to a horse character in the animated film adaptation of E.B. White's children's classic "Charlotte's Web." According to Zap2it, he will play Ike the horse, who suffers from arachnophobia and has to overcome his fear when dealing with the spider, whose wisdom and skills are put to the test to save the young pig Wilbur. Julia Roberts, Oprah Winfrey are among others lending their voice for the film to be directed by Gary Winick.

Keira Knightley to wield sword  (Go To Top)

     London: Keira Knightley will be showing off some adventurous moves as she is learning sword fighting for the sequel to Pirates of the Caribbean . According to The Sun, the actress, who is presently shooting for -Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest , at St. Vincent with stuntmen and co-star Johnny Depp, has been rehearsing fight scenes wielding two swords. The action of "Dead Man's Chest" between Captain Jack Sparrow (Depp) and Keira's reel love Will Turner, would only be seen by next year and the third sequel to the film is also expected around 2007.

Drew Barrymore's truce with mum (Go To Top)

     Washington: Charlie's Angels star Drew Barrymore has reunited with her mother Jaid, following the death of her father John last year. The actress had reportedly split from both of her parents and become a legally independent individual at the age of 15, but after her father's death, she decided to patch up with her mother. "(Our relationship) is more functional than it has been. My dad passing definitely made me go, 'You've got to let bygones be bygones'. It just made me have a more open mind and an open heart. It matured me", Contactmusic.com quoted her as saying.

Kidman knocked off the top of 'rich list' (Go To Top)

     Washington: Hollywood star Nicole Kidman has lost her rank from the top of Australia's rich list to children's entertainment troupe The Wiggles. The musical quartet - who have won millions of fans across the globe with their entertaining TV shows - earned 34.9 million dollars last year from the sale of CDs, videos and other merchandise. The Wiggles' phenomenal rise to fame has knocked Kidman to the second rank on BRW magazine's list, with a 12 month salary totalling 30.8 million dollars. Actor Russell Crowe stood third with estimated earnings of 20.9 million dollars while Veteran rockers AC/DC, fourth, and 'The Ring" actress Naomi Watts bagged the fifth position earning a 13.8 million dollars.

Elizabeth Hurley and Steve Bing are together (Go To Top)

     New York: Elizabeth Hurley and Steve Bing have finally decided to stand together after arguing bitterly over their son Damien's paternity. According to Contact music, Bing refused to accept he was the father to Damien when Hurley gave birth to him three years ago and demanded a DNA test as proof of his paternity. But now Bing sees Damien regularly. "Everybody's happy. There's no animosity. Thank God it's all very civilised," Hurley was quoted as saying.

100 Elvis look-alikes set to compete (Go To Top)

     London: Elvis Presley might be the only one, but several of his look-alikes will be seen at Selfridges setting the world record for Elvis impersonators performing at one venue. According to This is London, more than 100 Elvises are expected to perform Love Me Tender in full costume, in tune and in harmony, on 17th April. The record attempt will also take the form of a talent contest, with the best Presley in line for prizes including the chance to perform at a major Las Vegas casino.
