     Washington: Actress Brittany Murphy has stripped to the bare minimum for men's magazine 'Maxim' and says that she has done it for the benefit of American troops. "The reason that I chose to do this was because the magazine was kind enough to put a pin-up inside for the troops," Contactmusic.com quoted Ashton Kutcher's ex-girl as saying. "My cousin is overseas right now and he's a Marine. Maxim's doing a very kind thing in which they're sending, I believe, over 20,000 magazines overseas - and to our Bravehearts in the States," she said.

    London: Sir Elton John is reportedly facing a financial crunch, for his latest company accounts show that his company has an overdraft of nearly 27 million pounds. According to Daily Mail, The 2004 accounts for William A Bong showed a fall in turnover of more than 5 million pounds. The company's overdraft rose from 14,880,265 pounds to 26,818,728 pounds within 12 months. "The company is emphatically not in any financial trouble. The problem with accounts is that they only speak about one particular day and don't take into account the money coming in. The overdraft is illusory and this is the way the business is run. I wish I had Elton John's financial problems!," Frank Presland, chief executive of the company was quoted as saying. "This does not affect his personal wealth. "He has three films on the go, two theater shows, a big photographic exhibition and he paid out for his tours so he is waiting to get a lot of the money back. "Every company has borrowings and this company is no different," a representative For Elton John was quoted as saying.

     London: Nicole Kidman might be the richest female in Hollywood today, but she yearns for something that even money can't buy. According to Fox news, she has revealed that she would like to have a baby, sparking rumours that she was expecting. "I'm in 'baby crave' at the moment. Please let me get pregnant... boy, that would be beautiful," Kidman was quoted as saying. Kidman has two adopted children and had a miscarriage with Tom Cruise's child in 2001.

     London: Angelina Joile has confessed that she has been in a serious relationship with a woman in the past and says she might just sleep with her female fans in future.      London: Singer Seal has announced that he will marry supermodel Heidi Klum before their baby is born in September this year. "We are definitely going to get married before the baby is born," femalefirst quoted Seal as saying. Seal, who proposed to Klum at Christmas, had last month announced that they were expecting their first child together.

     London: Model Penny Lancaster is desperate to record a romantic duet with her rocker fiance Rod Stewart, but fears that the song would provoke a backlash from his fans. The former 'Faces' star, who wants to celebrate their engagement by recording the duet, insists that it is the perfect time to release a music album with her future husband. "We often make music together and it's something we would both like to do. But I know I'd get slated for it," femalefirst quoted Penny as saying.

     London: Beyonce has been named the Best Pop Princess in a poll conducted by Universal Music and teen website Kylie Klub for the album Pop Princesses 2. The Destiny's Child singer left behind stars like Britney Spears, Christina Aguilera, Girls Aloud and Kylie Minogue, winning 31 per cent of the votes. Kylie managed to get only 9 per cent of votes, reports The Sun.

Clooney and Blanchett may hook up in Germany (Go To Top)

     London: George Clooney and Cate Blanchett may be seen together in a romantic thriller- set in post-war Germany. According to Hollywood Reporter, the film is to be titled "The Good German", and will be directed by Steven Soderbergh. It is about an American journalist sent to report on the Allied summit meeting deciding the future of Germany following the Second World War. But the reporter, who is also secretly searching for a lost love interest gets entangled into a murder mystery when the body of a US soldier is washed up in the Russian zone.

     London: Germany has opened what is probably the world's first "drive-thru" brothel ever. The brothel in Cologne comprises of eight garages where clients drive in for a full service from a selection of working girls who also provide sexual favours. According to Femalefirst, the brothel is doing good business and the bosses are now planning to set up branches in other cities across Germany.

Pitt slams US magazine for linking him with Jolie (Go To Top)

     New York: Brad Pitt has slammed US magazine's April 18 cover story, which linked him with Angelina Jolie, featuring a headline that read "It's True!" over separate photos of Pitt and Jolie. The cover story quotes the Parker Palm Springs hotel staff and other sources who claim having sighted Pitt and Jolie romancing each other on the Easter weekend. "They were kissing and holding each other. He was rubbing her back. It looked romantic", New York Daily News quoted a source as saying. While Pitt's spokesperson was also quoted denying the news and stressing that the bond between Pitt and Jolie is chaste. "Brad stayed on one side of the property, and Angelina was on the other," the rep said. The Troy star himself slammed the rumors in an interview on "Access Hollywood" . "This particular story is completely untrue.Because these tabloids are making so much money, and yes, I consider US Weekly a tabloid, they go to great lengths to corroborate their stories, whether they are true or not" , the report quoted him as saying in an interview on "Access Hollywood" which aired Thursday. The actor had also slammed the magazine earlier in February because they had published photos featuring him as strolling a beach with model April Florio, minus his wedding ring at the time when he was still married to Aniston and was going through a rough patch. He had lashed out at the weekly calling the report "stupid, absolutely untrue (and) fabricated," and had warned the magazine of legal actions.

George Lucas to re-release 'Star Wars' films in 3-D (Go To Top)

     London: Hollywood director George Lucas has reportedly collaborated with 'Titanic' film-maker James Cameron to re-release all his six 'Star Wars' movies in 3-D. According to the Sun, Lucas, whose 'Star Wars: Episode III - Revenge of the Sith' hits theatres next month, hopes that all the movies in his sci-fi series will be released in 3-D by 2007.
