Three days nude with Salma Hayek and Penelope Cruz (Go To Top)

     London: Steve Zahn spent three days naked with Penelope Cruz and Salma Hayek filming their next project, Bandidas, in Mexico. "Right after I finished Sahara, I flew off to a desert in Mexico to film Bandidas with Penelope and Salma Hayek. It's set in 1888 in Mexico. Penelope and Salma are a pair of Robin Hood-style bank robbers. I'm the American detective who's sent down to Mexico to capture them," Zahn was quoted as saying by Calgary Sun. "They capture me and blackmail me by taking some risque photos of the three of us. I end up tied up naked on a bed with Salma and Penelope. I spent three days naked with the girls. I think it's safe to say I'm the envy of every man on the planet," he added.

     New York: Actress Reese Witherspoon who is rumored to be going through a troubled patch in her marriage, was forced to call the cops after being stalked by the paparazzi last week. Cameraman desperate to get her clips descended on her as soon as she came out of the gym with her husband, Ryan Phillipes and had to be helped by her trainer to fob off the animated pack "Her trainer came out and had to help her get past them so she could get into her car," an onlooker was quoted by the New York Daily News as saying. " When she finally pulled out, they jumped in their cars and took off after. They chased her all the way home to where she lives in a gated community. The security guards jumped out and had to assist her to get away from them." She finally managed to call the L.A.Police once she got home, but the paparazzi apparently managed to flee before they could arrive.

     London: RB singer Alicia Keys says that she was inspired by prostitutes to chart the course of her life. During her teenage years, Keys said that she used to observe the kind of life these prostitutes were leading in New York Times Square, which made her decide that life on streets would never become her destiny. "There were all these women on the street with very little clothing on. I asked (my mother) who they were and she explained. I'll never forget that night because it was so cold and they were so skinny and sick looking." "I remember promising myself that nothing would ever trap me or force me into a life like that."      London: Hollywood actresses might resort to dieting for that perfect figure, but not Liz Hurley who has slammed reports that she eats one meal a day. "It's absolute rubbish because I have a gall stone and low blood sugar so if I had one meal a day I'd been in hospital. I actually graze like a rabbit throughout the day. I couldn't possibly skip food. I can't go for more than four hours without eating something or I feel physically sick," Fox news quoted her as saying.

Brad Pitt goes on anti-poverty crusade (Go To Top)

    London: Hollywood star Brad Pitt, 41, has joined the fight against the degrading condition of poor nations, and the eradication of poverty, and will be travelling to Africa next week to attend the 'Make Poverty History' charity. He joins other heavyweights like Kylie, Bob Geldof and Kate Moss who have already signed an agreement with Comic relief founder Richard Curtis, who launched a campaign to ease the plight of poor nations. "Brad is committed to the campaign. He promises to recount his travels on TV", The Sun quoted Curtis as saying.

Liz Hurley's production house turns fashion house (Go To Top)

     London: Liz Hurley's ailing production company Simian Films is filling-in as a fashion house these days. "The girls downstairs, who only ever worked on movies, are now tagging (clothes) labels." Femalefirst quoted Liz as saying. Launched with Hugh Grant in 1994,the production house is facing financial problems and has just managed to produce two films, Extreme Measures and Mickey Blue Eyes. But Liz doesn't think it will shut down. "I'm certainly not going to produce another film in the next two years, but I think Simian Films will stay afloat," the report quoted her as saying.

    London: Outspoken Hollywood actress Jane Fonda has said that she has inherited her rebelliousness from her ancestors, with one of them having been banished from Italy for revolting against the authorities over 500 years ago! "Fonda is an Italian name, which means the bottom of the valley and my forefather was called Marcase De Fonda, who came from a valley outside of Genoa and was thrown out of Italy due to political insurrection. I kid you not, in the 1500s. It's in the genes." contact Music footed her as saying.

     New York: A cashier at Starbucks has claimed that Pop star Britney Spears likes to get drinks and food for free at her local outlet. According to the New York Post, when asked to pay the bill, the 23-year-old pop star would say to the staff, "Don't you know who I am?" The cashier, however, insisted that regardless of who she was, she still had to pay. Britney's rep, however, dismissed the report. The paper in an article on 'Freebies' for celebrities also reported that stars such as Cameron Diaz, Ashlee Simpson and Rachel Hunter are often sent clothing, handbags and jewellery as a perk.

Drew Barrymore had to feed her family at three (Go To Top)

     London: Drew Barrymore has confessed that she was forced to act like an adult at three, as she was responsible for laying food on the table for her family. "My father was never around and my mom and I both worked jobs to pay the rent. I never felt like a kid knowing your parents pay the rent and put food on the table." Femalefirst quoted her as saying. The actress, who began her career as a child artist and has struggled with alcohol and drug addictions, says she spent an insecure childhood worrying about a roof over her head and daily meals. "I was always afraid if I didn't work we wouldn't eat and we'd lose our house. I had that 40-year-old male mentality of 'I need to provide for my family' - when I was three years old," she said.
