James Bond is a 13-year old school boy

     London: Now, the suave British double agent James Bond will appear in a children's illustration as a 13-year old boy unlike his macho self which was conceived by the author Ian Fleming. The illustration is set to appear on the cover of a new set of children's novels featuring Bond as a schoolboy in baggy trousers and floppy fringe. The Young Bond books are written by Fast Show star and Fleming fan Charlie Higson, with the blessing of the author's family. The first book, SilverFin, hit the shelves earlier this month and has been an instant hit. "The hardest thing when writing SilverFin was picturing the young Bond in my mind.We have so many different images of him as a man - what would he have looked like as a boy?" Higson was quoted by The Mirror as saying. "Now, I know what he looks like. Young Bond and his world have really come alive," he added.

Beyonce Knowles' footwear malfunction (Go To Top)

     London: Malfunctions are becoming a regular phenomenon these days, as after Janet Jackson's wardrobe malfunction last year, this time Beyonce Knowles had a footwear malfunction when she was performing during the Japanese leg of her 'Destiny's Child' world tour. "I hope it doesn't become a regular occurrence. It was during a routine where one of our dancers has to crown me but instead of putting a crown on my head, he puts stilettos on my feet. He put them on the wrong feet. It was hilarious - I had to do the whole number like that," femalefirst quoted Beyonce as saying.

Liz Hurley wants Arun Nayar's babies (Go To Top)

     London: Hollywood beauty Elizabeth Hurley who turns 40 this month has revealed that she would love to have a baby with her boyfriend Arun Nayar but only after marrying him. "Arun would love a baby and I'd love another one too. I don't know how much time there is for many but I'd secretly like twins," Hurley was quoted by the Mirror as saying The "Austin Power's" actress has been a single mother ever since her ex boyfriend Steve Bing refused to admit that he was the father. "I've been a single mother once. And I am sure every single mother in the world would agree with me - it sucks," she added. However, Hurley's baby carvings will have to wait till Nayar's divorce is finalised.

     London: Aussie singing sensation Kylie Minogue reportedly indulged in sexual banter with the Prince Of Wales during a fundraising dinner. The 'Slow' singer revealed that she spoke to Prince Charles about sex toys without realising that such subjects could be too coarse to be spoken in front of royalty. "I told him this story about how I once performed with Dame Edna creator Barry Humphries. I duetted with him as his character Sir Les Patterson and he chased me round the stage with a large prosthetic penis," Kylie was quoted by Femalefirst as saying. However the Prince made her feel comfortable by telling her a few stories of his own. "The Prince laughed and then told me his Barry Humphries story, which was just as good. I was more than a little nervous. Maybe it was the Aussie in me. But it was only when I got home that I thought to myself, 'Not many people discuss that kind of subject with Prince Charles," she added.

     London: Rumours of an affair between Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie were further fuelled when the Hollywood hunk was recently spotted trying to bond with Jolie's adopted son Maddox. Although Pitt has vehemently denied any link up with his 'Mr and Mrs Smith' co-star but the actor happily playing dad to Maddox and helped the three year old build sandcastles on an African holiday, reports the Sun. Fans of Pitt's ex wife Jennifer Aniston have often blamed Jolie for the break up between Hollywood's one time Most Beautiful Couple.

Mother gives birth to two girls within 42 days

     Dhaka: Believe it or not, a mother has given birth to two children at an interval of one month and twelve days in a southern Bangladesh village, creating a sensation of sorts among the villagers, reported a private news agency on Saturday. Suktara, wife of businessman Shahin Rahman of College Branch Road in Barguna town gave birth to the first baby girl on March 10 after seven months of her pregnancy. The attending doctors hinted at that time that she might have another baby. Eventually she gave birth to a second baby girl on April 20. The mother and her children are well and have been sent to the Barisal Medical College Hospital. Gynaecologists say twin pregnancies can lead to such incidents. .
