Posh, Becks pledge love with matching tattoos (Go To Top)

    New York: Soccer ace David Beckham and his wife Former Spice Girl Victoria Beckham got matching Hebrew tattoos on their sixth wedding anniversary. The couple honoured David's family's Jewish beliefs, by getting the phrase "I am my beloved, my beloved is mine" from the Hebrew bible's Song of Songs inked on their skin, reports The Sun. The Real Madrid star had the body art etched onto his forearm last month (JUL05) when he was in Singapore, backing the London Olympic bid. And Victoria was so moved by the tattoo tribute, she agreed to have the same design on her neck. The soccer ace's body is covered with tattoos, but a close friend says, "This is his most romantic one."

Gisele Bundchen's obssesive cleaning disorder (Go To Top)

     Washington: Brazilian supermodel Gisele Bundchen has revealed that she has developed such a strong fixation with cleaning people's houses, she's convinced she's suffering from a disease. Gisele who is currently dating Hollywood heartthrob Leonardo DiCaprio, admits that she's such a stickler for hygiene she has to stop herself from cleaning friends' homes whenever she visits them. "I'm obsessed. I think I have a disease, actually... I always fire housekeepers. I don't even have one because I always have to clean after them because they always move things out of place and I get really like upset about it," she was quoted by Contactmusic, as saying. "I like everything clean. You can actually eat off the floor of my house, that's how clean my floors are. They're so clean because I clean them myself, so I know. I've learned in life how to be a bit more patient with cleaning because in the past I used to go to people's houses and start like cleaning their dishes and organising their house. People get offended. You arrive in their house and you're like cleaning everything. They're like, 'What's wrong with you?' she added.

     London: A medicine company in La Florida, Chile is reportedly producing and selling a cough medicine, Karacoflu, made with snail slime. Owner of the snail farm, Maria Sannino, has claimed to have enough raw material for this ancient cough medicine recipe, and strongly believes it to be an effective cough remedy, because snail slime carries antibiotic as well as antibacterial and anti-inflammation properies. "I have more than 8500 snails working so we can get material for this ancient cough medicine recipe," Fox News quoted him as telling Las Ultimas Noticias. "The snail slime has antibiotic property as well as antibacterial and anti-inflammation ones," he added. Karacoflu comes in artificial flavours of strawberry and avocado.

Wills steals Robbie's crown at Tussauds (Go To Top)

     London: Prince William's wax statue at Madame Tussauds museum is likely to oust pop sensation Robbie Williams' figure, as the most popular wax work. A 6ft 3in figure of Wills has made its debut, and organisers of the display are wagering he'll top interactive Robbie as the museum's biggest draw. "We expect Prince William will steal his crown," a representative was quoted by Hello Magazine, as saying. William's statue, standing in a relaxed pose and wearing a lounge suit, joins figures of his father Charles, grandmother Queen Elizabeth II and his mother, the late Princess Diana, in the Madame Tussauds royal line-up.

     Washington: Pop singer Jennifer Lopez, who had last month complained that she got depressed over the news Jennifer Garner was expecting her first child with her ex-fiance Ben Affleck, has finally offered her best wishes to the couple. "You know, I'm a married woman now and I just don't think it's right to keep commenting on past relationships. And, you know, I hope they're happy. You know, it's a beautiful thing. There are no hard feelings. Congratulations to them both," Ratethemusic quoted Lopez as saying. Affleck, who split with Lopez in January last year, tied the knot with Garner in June this year in Caribbea, shortly before confirming they are expecting their first child together. And Lopez, at that time had complained that the news upset her because she was desperate to become a mother.

Mike Tyson turns porn star (Go To Top)

     London: Former World Boxing Champion Mike Tyson may star in a porn film with Jenna Jameson. Tyson, who retired from boxing last month, said that he desperately needs money to pay his tax bills of several million dollars, and a porn career could help him in his cause. "I just talked to a gentleman called Jimmy who's involved with Jenna Jameson. They said they were interested in getting me involved in the adult film industry. I need the money up front," femalefirst quoted him as saying to Zoo magazine. American boxing journalist Pedro Fernandez also said that Tyson, who was jailed for six years in 1992 on rape charges, would triumph in the sex industry. "According to court documentation from Tyson's rape trial, his member is at least 14in long. If Tyson brings out some of the ferocity that made him a champion, he could definitely become a successful porn star," he said.
