    London: Handsome actor Tom Cruise's jumping on Oprah Winfrey's couch and yelling his love for fiancee Katie Holmes has reportedly made such an impact on pop culture that "jumping the couch" has now become a well-used phrase, and has also found a place in the website UrbanDictionary.com. The Mission Impossible star's dancing antics also faced criticism from some corners, with screen legend Lauren Bacall recently calling it 'vulgar'. According to the dictionary, the definition of the term jump the couch reads: "The defining moment when you know someone has gone off the deep end. Inspired by Tom Cruise's behaviour on Oprah," reports Femalefirst.

    London: Aussie beauty Nicole Kidman has revealed that although she has experienced "deep loneliness" since splitting from her husband Tom Cruise but she feels that being single has its own advantages. The screen beauty believes, although she struggled being on her own, she is stronger knowing she can survive by herself. "There's a lot to be said for being able to be on your own," she was quoted by Femalefirst, as saying. "Well, you don't have to share your bathroom with anyone You get up in the morning and eat your breakfast if and when you want to, you can come home and sit in front of the TV and eat ice cream and not have to explain yourself, "she added.

     London: 'Kill Bill' beauty Uma Thurman who has found single motherhood quite taxing has now turned to fellow actress Angelina Jolie, for parenting advice. Since splitting from Ethan Hawke in 2004, Thurman has had sole responsibility of their children Maya, seven and Roan three. "It's only now that my kids are a little older that I don't feel completely torn apart with guilt when I leave them," she was quoted by Femalefirst, as saying. "I've found that it's only when they start enjoying things away from you that you can really enjoy doing things on your own, too. I'd love to share advice with other single mothers, like Angelina Jolie, but it's such an odd thing being a movie star parent. I find there are not many people that you have things in common with," she added.

     Washington: Hollywood sex goddess Marilyn Monroe refused to marry Frank Sinatra because it would have ruined their relationship, according to tapes the screen star allegedly made shortly before her death. On the tapes, the actress proclaims her love for Sinatra, but claims her failed marriages to baseball star Joe DiMaggio and playwright Arthur Miller put her off marriage as an institution. The revelations come from transcripts of recordings former Los Angeles prosecutor John Miner claims Monroe made for her psychiatrist, Dr Ralph Greenson, reports Contactmusic. He claims she said, "What a wonderful friend he is to me. I love Frank and he loves me. It is not the marrying kind of love. It is better because marriage can't destroy it. How well I know. Marriage destroyed my relationships with two wonderful men."

     London: Actress Jennifer Aniston reportedly re- shaped her body for the cover-shoot of Vanity Fair, with the help of her ex-co-star and friend Courtney Cox and a custom-made holistic exercise technique. Cox advised Aniston to take therapy sessions from Cameron Shayne, who developed Budokon, which according to him is a technique to explore the physical, emotional and spiritual body through movement, diet and meditation. Shaye said that Jen always took sessions when in town, as her work keeps her busy most of the time. "She started with me last summer. But she's a busy woman so she tries to get in when she's in town," Femalefirst quoted the martial arts master, yoga teacher and lifestyle coach saying about Jen. "Because Jen's very laid back. It's good for her to get some of that fire energy out," he added.

Paris Latsis not serious about Paris Hilton, says dad (Go To Top)

     London: Grigoris Kasidokostas, father of Paris Latsis, has reportedly denied claims that his son is serious about marrying hotel heiress Paris Hilton. He claims that his son is in no hurry to marry fiancee Paris Hilton, because he has not yet discussed the marriage plans with him, which went to show his lack of seriousness over the affair. "If he hasn't discussed this with his own father, how serious could it be? That should tell you the whole story," Femalefirst quoted Kasidokostas as telling website PageSix.com. Kasidokostas has also asked young Hilton to patiently wait for marriage with Latsis, if she loves him. "He doesn't have a lot of experience with women. If Paris Hilton really loves my son, she'll have to be patient," he said.
