Does 'Bigamous' Britney have another husband? (Go To Top)

     London: Britney Spears could well be a bigamist if TV presenter Richard Bacon is to be believed. Twenty nine year old Bacon, a DJ on 95.8 Capital FM, has said that he legally wed Britney, while interviewing her in a hotel room for Channel 4's The Big Breakfast, reports The Daily Mail. He said that the Britney even signed a marriage certificate with his name on it. He said that under such circumstances his marriage to Britney was still legally binding and her later marriage to Kevin was void. "It was the first time she'd told anyone she'd split with Justin Timberlake and I had a bit of plan, as I had hoped to get the admission out of her about the split. I had a vicar waiting round the corner with a real marriage certificate. I went down on one knee in front of her and said 'would you marry me?' and she said 'hey sure'," the paper quoted Bacon as telling to listerners on the radio programme. "So I signalled to the vicar, the vicar walked in with the real marriage certificate. I signed it, she signed it... vicar pronounces us married. Obviously the interview concluded and the cameras packed up. I walked off with the marriage certificate down the corridor when this massive security guard came hurtling after me, took it out of my hand and tore it up as he realised what I'd done and that it was legally binding," he said. "You can't just get rid of it by tearing it up, which means I actually could still be legally married to Britney Spears, which means her marriage to Kevin doesn't exist and that Britney Spears a bigamist," he added. Britney's spokesperson has however rubbished the claim. "Sorry to break Richards heart, but Britney Spears is legally married to her husband Kevin Federline and is expecting their first child together very soon. I hope Richard is able to accept this and move on from what must be a confusing time for him," said the spokesman.

Britney's hubby seeks Deepak Chopra's spiritual guidance (Go To Top)

     Washington: After Hollywood got interested in Deepak Chopra's writings, it's now Britney Spears' husband Kevin Federline, who has turned to the Indian motivational guru for spritual guidance. According to Ratethemusic, Federline, who is set to become a father of three next month, when Britney gives birth to their first child together, was recently spotted carrying Chopra's book 'The Book of Secrets'. The book gives 15 spiritual pointers for enlightenment, and about parenthood, it says, "Growing children learn many roles simultaneously, and the role learned at home is only one of many." Britney and Federline will also celebrate their first wedding anniversary next month.

Madonna is looking for a 'dancey' body double (Go To Top)

     Washington: Pop star Madonna, who was left injured after falling from a horse last week, is reportedly enlisting a body double for a video track in her upcoming album. "This is a club-friendly album, very 'dancey' and she wanted the video to reflect that. It hasn't been shot yet, so they've gone back to the drawing board to rethink it. Madonna's got her arm in a sling and her hand is plastered. She's not going to be dancing for a while," Ratethemusic quoted a source as saying to the Daily Mirror. The singer was thrown from a horse, given to her by husband Guy Ritchie on her 47th birthday, and is now recovering from a broken hand, a broken collar bone and three cracked ribs.

Liz Hurley to launch organic baby food (Go To Top)

    Washington: After creating her own swimwear range earlier this year, model-turned-actress Elizabeth Hurley is all set to launch a range of organic baby food. Hurley says that she decided on take up the project after giving birth to son Damian in 2002. "I found all I wanted to do was given Damian perfect, unadulterated food. It would be wonderful to come up with good, maybe even convenience food which is really healthy, low-calorie, organic and delicious," Contactmusic quoted Hurley as saying.

One wedding's not enough for Paris Hilton! (Go To Top)

     London: Hotel heiress and socialite Paris Hilton, it seems is too popular to have just one wedding, and so according to her sister, Nicky, the couple have decided to host two ceremonies to do justice to their legion of fans. While one ceremony is expected to take place in Greece, the other is being set up in California, to enable everyone to attend. "They're considering having a ceremony in Greece and in California. They have big families and many friends so there will be a lot of people involved.", Femalefirst quoted Nicky as saying. And Nicky has also given credit to Latsis, for bring a huge amount of maturity in Paris, ever since the got romantically involved. "She has grown up and isn't going out as much, she doesn't have the time. She works every day. He's shy and quiet but you can't help but like him. He's smart, sweet, nice and very polite," she said.

     London: Tommy Hilfigher, one of the most famous brand names in the fashion industry, is looking for a buyer after its income slipped to an all time low of 1.88 billion dollars According to analysts, after the company reinvented itself with its H collection in 2000, its profits started slipping, and is said to be suffering an "identity crisis", reports Femalefirst. The company has reportedly invited bids in the range of 2 billion from both trade and private firms.
