Liz Hurley launches her own lingerie line

     London: Hollywood beauty Elizabeth Hurley is all set to launch her own line of beachwear. Her collection also includes tunics, sarongs, kaftans and linen pants to flatter the curvier figure, reports the Mirror. "I've been involved in every single aspect - design, fabrics, factories, fit, accessories, sales and promotion," Liz was quoted as saying," the actress was quoted as saying. The collection will go on sale at Saks in New York, Harrods in London.

     Washington: Leonardo DiCaprio's popularity seems to have crossed boundaries, for villagers in a Brazilian rainforest too seem to know him. According to The Star magazine, he met naked villagers dressed only in "big feather earrings and painted faces." They didn't speak English and just stared at him. "But then one leans over and said, 'Leonardo?' I (was) shocked, but said, 'Yes.'He grinned big and said, 'Titanic!'," DiCaprio was quoted as saying.

McConaughey and Cruz to star in 'The Loop' (Go To Top)

     Washington: Penelope Cruz has teamed up with her spouse Matthew McConaughey to star in S.R. Bindler directed love story 'The Loop'. The couple is also working together in action-adventure film 'Sahara', which hits theatres this summer. 'The Loop', which is an adaptation of a novel by Joe Coomer, narrates the story of a librarian (Cruz) who inspires a loner cop (McConaughey) to search for his long-lost parents. According to E-online, production is tentatively scheduled to begin in mid-September. The film also marks the feature directorial debut of Bindler, who has previously helmed commercials as well as the 1997 documentary Hands on a Hardbody.

Denzel to bring Davis Jr's life to silver screen (Go To Top)

     London: Oscar-winning actor Denzel Washington is all set to star in a movie based on the life of legendary crooner and entertainer Sammy Davis Jr. According to femalefirst, Washington has also written the foreword to the paperback version of author Wil Haygood's 'In Black and White: The Life of Sammy Davis Jr'. The 'Training Day' star said that he optioned the film rights to the book, which will be published in April 2005 to mark the 80th anniversary of the birth of Davis, and plans to bring it to the screen with 'A Beautiful Mind producer Brian Glazer. Washington also said that the book has changed his life and "It will make a great, inspiring movie."

Jessica Parker to romance in 'Love Walked In' (Go To Top)

     Washington: The former 'Sex and the City' actress Sarah Jessica Parker is to step into a leading film role in the romantic movie 'Love Walked In'. The movie will be produced by Michael London, who also produced 'Sideways', and Parker will play the part of a 31-year-old woman who becomes good friends with the 11-year-old daughter of her new boyfriend. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the film is based on Marisa de los Santos' first novel and will be released in December. Parker has also signed on to star opposite Matthew McConaughey in Paramount's 'Failure to Launch.'

     London: 'Titanic' damsel Kate Winslet confesses she had got stuck in the toilet during the Oscars once. The beautiful actress says it happened in the 1997 Oscars ; the year of her nomination for Titanic."When I was nominated for 'Titanic', I wore a Givenchy dress by Alexander McQueen. But I forgot to try out whether I could go to the loo with the dress on. When I went to the toilet I had to get my mother to help me get the dress off. I won't make the mistake again.", Female First quoted KateWinslet as saying. She has been nominated for Best Actress at this month's ceremony. She shall surely stay away from the toilet; all set to grab the award.
