Couple who met on Net name their baby 'Yahoo'

     London: A Romanian couple that met each other on the Internet has named their baby "Yahoo", the Daily Times reported today. Nonu and Cornelia Dragoman say they had a virtual relationship for three months before seeing each other. Cornelia told Libertatea newspaper: "We named him Lucian Yahoo, one name after my father and the other from the computer. These were the two elements which guided my life." The baby was born a few days after Christmas last year.

My third child's name will be San Miguel, says Beckham (Go To Top)

     London: England soccer skipper David Beckham jokingly said that his pop star wife Victoria and he might name their third child after a Spanish beer, San Miguel. "I heard San Miguel was one name we had apparently mentioned," The Sun quoted Beckham as saying. Beckham and Victoria have two kids, Brooklyn and Romeo, and their third child is due this year in March.

     London: Brad Pitt has banned British and American reporters from his first appearance since his split from Jennifer Aniston. At the premiere of Ocean's 12 in Tokyo, the actor allowed only a few local journalists to ask him questions, who were warned not to ask questions about his marriage split, reports the Sun.

Jennifer Aniston seeks solace from her hairdresser (Go To Top)

     London: After her split with hubby Brad Pitt, Jennifer Aniston is seeking comfort from celebrity crimper Chris McMillan. The top hairdresser, credited for creating her famous hairstyle known simply as 'The Rachel' has been Jen's confidant for several years and the actress is said to have immediately turned to him after the couple finally called it a day last Friday. "Chris has been a great shoulder to cry on over the years and he is there for her now," a source was quoted by the Sun, as saying.

     Sydney: Supermodel Naomi Campbell did a redo of Janet Jackson's peek-a-boo as her dress blouse opened during the autumn/winter fashion week in Rio De Janeiro. Campbell was opening the fashion show for the TNG label in a white flower print dress and white mink stole, designed by Tito Bessa. According to the News.com, however, neither Campbell nor Bessa attempted to clear up the matter after the show. "The people (in Brazil) are happy, I have great friends and the clothes make me look younger, too," Campbell was quoted as saying after the show.

     London: The much hyped cult of Kabbalah, followed by starlets like Madonna and Demi Moore, is not what it is being promoted as, reveals an investigative documentary made by staff at BBC2's Sweeney Investigates and raises serious questions about the Kabbalah Centre movement and its leaders. According to This is London, the documentary, to be screened on BBC2 has dug up some shocking facts about the kabbalah centre. It reveals that the "Healing" spring water sold to followers for nearly 4 pounds a bottle comes from a Canadian bottling plant. The Kabbalah Centre insists that its water is sourced from springs and treated by an exclusive Kabbalistic process, using blessings and meditations. It also found that the cash raised by donors for the Asian tsunami victims is being spent on distributing Kabbalah Centre products in the devastated region. Though the Kabbalah Centre led by former New York rabbi and insurance salesman Philip Berg, claims to be a not-for-profit organisation but its leaders are said to live millionaire lifestyles and there have been claims of a visit to a gambling venue and expensive plastic surgery. The programme team interviewed senior figures in the Jewish community who denounced the Centre as a "nefarious bunch of charlatans". The 3.65 million centre is also under investigation by Westminster council after the documentary found evidence of devotees sleeping in windowless "cells" in a basement.

     London: Courtney Love has won back the custody of her daughter Frances Bean, despite facing a series of lawsuits for her drug addiction and violent behaviour. The troubled rocker was reportedly so desperate to play full-time mum to the 12-year-old child she had with late Nirvana frontman Kurt Cobain, that she is selling her New York home to raise funds. According to the Femalefirst, a court ruled earlier this week that, despite Courtney's previous lawsuits for drugs and assault, Francis Bean would be better off living with her than continue in the care of her grandmother Wendy O'Connor, Kurt Cobain's mother.

I will kill Michael Moore, says Clint Eastwood (Go To Top)

     New York: Hollywood icon Clint Eastwood while speaking in an awards ceremony in New York said that he would kill 'Fahrenheit 9/11' filmmaker Michael Moore if he ever showed up at his front door with a camera. With Moore sitting in the audience, Eastwood said, "Michael Moore and I actually have a lot in common - we both appreciate living in a country where there's free expression. "But, Michael, if you ever show up at my front door with a camera - I'll kill you. I mean it," he added. The 'City Heat' star, who is a Republican, made the comments at the National Board of Review awards held in New York where he picked up a Special Filmmaking Achievement prize for 'Million Dollar Baby'. According to New York Daily News, Moore, who received a special 'Freedom of Expression' award for his famous anti-Bush documentary, laughed off Eastwood's 'mean comments'.

     London: 'Friends' star Jennifer Aniston has reportedly moved out of the Hollywood home she shared with her estranged husband Brad Pitt. The petite blonde beauty, who announced her split from the 'Troy' actor last week, is now reportedly living at the home of her stylist, Chris McMillan. "When she returned from her holiday with Brad she went straight to Chris's house," The Sun quoted a source as saying. "She couldn't face going back to the house she shared with Brad. She found the idea too upsetting. Chris has been a great shoulder for her to cry on over the years and he's there for her now," added the source.
