Chennai: A local court in Chennai today adjourned to January 27 the hearing on the bail plea of Kathiravan and Sundaresa Iyer, the key accused in the 2002 Radhakrishan assault case. He informed that Chandrasekar wanted to argue the case on merit. On the other hand, the city Public Prosecutor, T V Ganesan objected to grant of bail to the accused stating that they were not entitled to it, as they are booked under the Goondas Act.

The Prince of Wales's Foundation for Integrated Health is overseeing the system of regulation. The Diagnostic Clinic, which combines orthodox and proven complementary therapies, said the growth in acceptance of alternative medicine was perhaps influenced by public frustration with the limitations of Western medicine. The survey found that 35 per cent around 17 million people would not consult a doctor with problems such as tiredness, headaches, skin rashes and mild allergies.
