"Government officials were forced to do wrong things and if anyone refused he was discriminated and harassed," Sonia Gandhi alleged and promised good governance if voted to power.      Patna: After two of it's party candidates were attacked in the run up to the assembly elections, Ram Vilas Paswan's Lok Jan Shakti Party today asked the Election Commission to provide security to all its candidates. First the LJP candidate from Imamganj assembly constituency Rajesh Kumar and three others were killed in Gaya district. Then another LJP candidate Ranjit Singh was attacked in Atri , however, he survived. In the letter submitted to the Chief Electoral Officer, the LJP has demanded security for all its candidates through out the state. A four member delegation of the LJP, led by State Unit President Narendra Singh submitted the letter. Other members of the delegation were former MP Ranjan Yadav,Anwarul Haque and MLA Pasupti Nath Paras. "The RJD is targeting our candidates as they fear they will lose to us at the hustings. We are going to sweep the elections and this has made the RJD go awry. They are now going for bullets rather than ballots," said the state LJP President Narendra Singh while coming out of the Commissions state office. Singh further elaborated on the reasons why the candidates of LJP are being targeted. "Our party is only a registered party and not a recognised one, that's why if one of our candidates is killed the election will not be countermanded. So, we have asked the commission to take adequate measures, let's see what happens," said the former minister. A one time close associate of Lalu Yadav, Ranjan Yadav said, "This is RJD's frustration, they know that we are going to win and thus they are taking such measures. But this is not going to mar our confidence, we know we will win".
