Scarlett Johansson's pooch trouble (Go To Top)

     London: Actress Scarlett Johansson was reportedly horrified when she came to know that the airport officials at Paris' Charles de Gaulle airport, declared her beloved pet pooch, teacup Chihuahua, Maggie, unfit to travel and wanted to put her down. The actress had arranged for Maggie to be flown from the US to London, via Paris. But when the tiny dog arrived, officials did not allow her to be flown. After hearing this, a distraught Scarlett sent aides to France to save the dogs life. "Maggie was on her way to join Scarlett via Paris but workers at Charles de Gaulle airport felt she was not fit and wanted to exterminate her. Immediately she rushed her people off to Paris to plead for Maggie's life. Mercifully, they relented and one very relieved Chihuahua has now been reunited with its owner in London", Femalefirst quoted a source as telling Britain's Sunday Telegraph newspaper.

LA mayor comes to Arnie's rescue (Go To Top)

     Washington: Los Angeles Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa seems to be a good friend of Arnold Schwarzenegger. According to contactmusic, Villaraigosa came to Arnie's defence during his inaugural speech when he stopped speaking to address those opposed to Schwarzenegger. Protestors booed as Villaraigosa thanked Schwarzenegger for his support and for attending the inauguration ceremony. "Excuse me, there will be civility today," Villaraigosa was quoted as saying. The protestors have been following Schwarzenegger around California to tell him what they think of his controversial education and medical reforms.

Leonardo DiCaprio wants to start a family (Go To Top)

     London: Supermodel Gisele Bundchen, reportedly wants to start a family with boyfriend Leonardo DiCaprio, and is also trying to convince the actor for it. When asked what she would like as a birthday present, Gisele very clearly said that she would like a baby, without mentioning the name of her five-year boyfriend. "I want a baby. My life dream is to have a baby, but it's not only up to me, it's up to the father too. I don't know anything though, I wish I had a crystal ball", Femalefirst quoted her as telling website The Scoop.

Halle Berry's ex pens a song about their failed marriage (Go To Top)

      London: Halle Berry's ex-husband Eric Benet has reportedly penned a song about his failed marriage to the actress. According to Femalefirst, the musician, who was unfaithful to her, has revealed some tracks on 'Hurricane' were written during his marriage to the actress, while others are about their painful break-up. "I can hear the good times and bad in this album But two years have gone by We've both moved on," he said. "I'm proud of the work here I'm not ashamed that some of the songs deal with examining myself, hoping to become a better man That's not a bad thing," he added. "I think she'll change her mind I hope she does and that it'll be right for her, finally," he was quoted by the New York Post, as saying.

Jude Law and Sadie Frost work out divorce settlement (Go To Top)

     Washington: British actor Jude Law and his ex-wife Sadie Frost, who had been disagreeing over their divorce settlement since they officially ended their six-year marriage in October 2003, have finally reached an out of court settlement. The couple, who share custody of their three children, Rafferty, Iris, and Rudy, have also signed confidentiality agreements preventing them from discussing the deal wherein Frost would keep their marital home in Primrose Hill, receive monthly allowances and a lump sum from Law, equal to 3.6 million dollars. "Sadie is pretty happy about the agreement - they both are. The most important thing for her is that she has kept the house. She knows that she will be financially secure - although she will still have to work. Jude is relieved, too. Sadie had been trying to get a lot more money out of him. Both of them are now hoping to put this behind and get on with their lives with their new partners", Contactmusic.com quoted a friend of Frost as telling British newspaper Daily Mail.

Rod Stewart's gardener arrested for sexual assault (Go To Top)

     Washington: British rocker Rod Stewart's former gardener, Donald Smith, has been sentenced to 11 years behind bars, after pleading guilty no two separate charges of stealing the singer's Dodge Viper car and attempting sexual assault. Smith, who had been tending to the lawns Rod's home at Stewart's Palm Beach, Florida, was sacked last year. After he was fired, Smith drove off with the star's sports car, which was later discovered in a canal and cost 15,000 dollars to repair. Smith, who was also accused for breaking into his female neighbour's home and trying to rape her, has also pleaded for leniency through his lawyer to Judge Jack Cook. Cook also ordered Smith to complete a drug treatment programme when he is released, reports Ratethemusic.com.

Lindsay Lohan fans want to see her eat (Go To Top)

     London: Singer Lindsay Lohan's dramatic weight loss has kicked off an Internet campaign to get her eating again. A website, www.feedlindsay.com, has also been launched, wherein fans , who want to see the slim star gain weight again, can post their concerns. Lindsay had sparked fears of her health last week when she was photographed with Nicole Richie, looking gaunt. In order to urge Lindsay to start eating again, campaigners have taken up various methods including selling merchandise like hats and T-shirts, with the words 'Feed Lindsay', where some 200 fans have also signed an online petition which reads, " "We urge you Lindsay to please pick up a sandwich and eat it, or ice cream, or any food that might put those oh-so-cute pounds back on. Sincerely, The Undersigned". "Somewhere between all the underage drinking and filming her new movie Lindsay forgot to eat! Sign the petition and wear your 'Feed Lindsay' gear proudly. Hopefully Lindsay will swing by the site, get the idea and eat some cake", Femalefirst quoted the site as saying.
