     London: Actress Sienna Miller has reportedly agreed to meet Jude Law over the weekend to decide their future, after walking out on the actor for cheating on her with his children's nanny Daisy Wright. According to sources, Sienna has told pals that there is a little chance of reconciliation, because the Jude she knew is different from the one projected by media these days. "They have been talking each day by phone but only in very loud voices. The man she read about in the papers seems very different to the guy she fell in love with," the Mirror quoted a friend as saying.

Mel Gibson's latest passion is Apocalypto (Go To Top)

     Washington: Mel Gibson is all set to start work on his flick, titled Apocalypto, shooting for which is scheduled to begin in October. According to Eonline, the film is directed, written and produced by Gibson and is an action picture, set 3,000 years in the past. Details otherwise are sketchy, and Gibson requested studio execs read the script at his offices, less any pages get leaked. Apocalypto is a Greek term meaning unveiling. Gibson's Apocalypto is "not religious in theme."

     London: Jennifer Aniston's former lover is auctioning on eBay a love letter she wrote to him 21 years ago. According to the New York Post, besides the love letter handwritten in red pen, the man, who has set a reserve of 100,000 dollars on the memorabilia, is also auctioning a piece of paper on which Aniston wrote her name, telephone number and a birthday message. The former 'Friends' star was just 15 and attending the New York's High School of Performing Arts at that time. She remained friends with the man until 1991 when her career began to take off.

Broker urges Colin Farrell to profit from his sex tapes (Go To Top)

     Washington: The broker, who has the master copy of Colin Farrell's sex tape, has urged the actor to give him rights of the tape. David Hans Schmidt, who has been prevented from selling, showing or distributing the tape by a court order, said that the Irish actor should be thrilled about the controversy, because it might give a boost to his career. "Alexander was such a flop; this guy needs a little bit of publicity. He's got two films coming out this fall. I think it's a shot in the arm for him because it's publicity and it's gonna drive box office sales," Contactmusic quoted him as saying on US talk show 'The Big Idea'. Schmidt urged Farrell to sign a deal with him and allow him to release the 15-minute tape, before more someone else get hold of a reported copy of the tape and put images on the internet. "We have already told Marty Singer (Farrell's lawyer) that, according to our information, there's a copy of the tape missing and it's being shopped right now," he said.

Eminem slams retirement report (Go To Top)

     London: Rapper Eminem has slammed reports that alleged he was planning retirement. "How many of you all read the tabloids? Cause there's some sh*t goin' around that I'm retiring," Fox News quoted Eminem as telling a crowd at Washington's White River Amphitheatre. Earlier this week, the media had reported that Eminem's show at Slane Castle, Ireland on September 17 would be his last, and that he would concentrate on production after that.

Bob Dylan tells all to Martin Scorcese (Go To Top)

     London: Bob Dylan is to appear in his first ever TV interview in decades, which is directed by Martin Scorsese. According to The Telegraph, the two-part Arena special No Direction Home, took five years to make. Scorsese refused even to meet Dylan in case it affected his treatment of the September 26 and 27 BBC2 shows - the first in which Dylan has spoken so candidly about his life. Roly Keating, the BBC2 controller, said that the 210-minute film promised an "awesome and unique" picture of Dylan, covering his arrival in New York in January 1961 to July 1966. Much of the film is about England, with previously unseen out- takes from D A Pennebaker's Don't Look Back and Eat The Document, shot on Dylan's 1965 and 1966 tours. Anthony Wall, editor of Arena, which is showing the film, said that Dylan talks about his recording of Like a Rolling Stone. "If anything, it's an emotional journey. Dylan talks about Joan Baez [his lover during his first UK tour] but doesn't answer questions in the way some artists do," he added.
