     London: Hollywood beauty Angelina Jolie has topped the list of the world's 100 most beautiful women. Supermodel Christy Turlington came second followed by Queen Rania of Jordan and film director Sophia Coppola. Indian beauty Aishwarya Rai also figured in the top 25. According to Fox News, the Harpers & Queen magazine list was compiled by 1,000 experts from the worlds of fashion, arts and the media.

Prince Harry sweats it out at Sandhurst (Go To Top)

     London: Prince Harry has sure enough left his flamboyant days behind him, as the Prince was seen carrying an SA80 assault rifle and 25 kilo pack, for an eight-hour exercise drill in the heat at Sandhurst. The four-day expedition, which began this week was Harry's introduction to soldiering outside the military academy classroom. It began at 5am - after a night in a a tent - and covered 10 miles, with only two stops, across Ashdown Forest, East Sussex. Harry's platoon was among 250 cadets on the 1,000 acres of MoD exercise territory. "This is a crucial part of training. The bad news is that it only gets tougher," a source at Sandhurst was quoted by the Mirror as saying.

Clinton accused of getting naughty with a nurse (Go To Top)

     Washington: Former US President Bill Clinton has been accused of raping a nurse, in a shocking new book, called "Their Lives - the women targeted by the Clinton machine". According to Contactmusic, the author of the book, lawyer Candice E Jackson was so disgusted by the fact, that Clinton neatly ignored his infidelities in his bestselling autobiography My Life, she deided to expose several women she claims he sexually abused. Jackson's controversial book focuses on seven women, including Clinton's alleged mistress, Gennifer Flowers, radio host Sally PerdueE, White House intern Monica Lewinsky and the alleged rape victim, Juanita Broaddrick. Broaddrick says she met Clinton, then the Arkansas Attorney General, in 1978, when he made a campaign stop at the nursing home where she worked. And she alleges he asked if he could have a coffee with her in her hotel room to avoid reporters, but when she let him in, he reportedly forced her onto the bed and raped her. Broaddrick reportedly told Jackson, "It was a really panicky situation. I was even at the point where I was getting very noisy, you know, yelling to please stop.

     Washington: Hollywood star Christian Slater who has been accused of molesting a woman on the streets of New York has the full support of strippers who claim that he is the perfect gentleman. "It's difficult for some men to remain calm when I take off my gown and reveal my 36Ds," Scores stripper Logan was quoted by The New York Post, as saying. "But Christian always remains cool - he has never attempted to touch me inappropriately," another stripper Paris added. "We believe this situation is the result of a misunderstanding and we are hopeful that this will be resolved shortly," Slater's publicist said in a statement.

     London: Percy and Florence Arrowsmith, who wed in 1925 and received the honour of becoming the longest-married couple in the world today after celebrating their 80th marriage anniversary, revealed the secrets of their long-term relationship. According to 105-year old Percy, the secret of a successful partnership is always saying-"yes dear," to one's spouse and Florence,100, strongly beleives that one should never bring ego in a relationship and should try to end an argument by saying 'sorry'. She also claims that it requires a lot of effort from both the ends to make a relationship going. "Never be afraid to say sorry. We never go to bed as bad friends. It is all about hard work. We have had our arguments but we work through them together," the Sun quoted Florence as saying. Sharing her memories from her past, Florence revealed, "I will always remember our honeymoon - Percy had a bit of a hangover. I had to lay him down at the station and cover him with my coat - he was covered in confetti." From their 80 years-old marriage, Percy and Florence are blessed with two children, a foster daughter, six grandchildren and nine great grandkids.

    London: Late Princess Diana's brother Earl Spencer is all set to produce a new range of furniture based on the antiques at Althorp Estate, the home where he and his sister grew up. The furniture is being manufactured by leading furniture company Theodore Alexander and each piece in the collection is an exact replica of an item from Althorp. Spencer said that royalties from the collection would be used to pay for the renovation at Northamptonshire mansion. "The house has been looking after the furniture for hundreds of years. It's time for the furniture to look after the house. I was brought up to look after Althorp. It was drummed into me at a very young age that it would be mine to have, not in a way to enjoy it and abuse it in any way, but very much as a duty that I should look after this piece of Britain's heritage," Hello magazine quoted him as saying.

British secret service behind Di's death: ex-MI5 spy (Go To Top)

     London: Annie McMahon, a former MI5 employee has claimed the British secret service was behind a plan to injure Princess Diana in the car crash that killed her. According to Femalefirst, McMahon who worked for the British Intelligence agency between 1991 and 1995 told the Guernsey Press that the ministry wanted to injure the princess so she would break off her relationship with Dodi Al Fayed. He claimed MI6 were keen that Diana was not killed in the Paris accident because they didn't want her to become a public martyr. But their plan backfired when the princess and her lover, Dodi, were killed together when the Mercedes they were travelling in crashed into a pillar on a Paris underpass.

     Washington: Actress Katie Holmes has angrily hit out at the accusations made against her that her ongoing romance with actor Tom Cruise was a publicity stunt. Though the American public have been skeptical of the relationship that the couple share and Katie claims that she is very happy with the shape her life is taking as of now, and vehemently asserts that she is genuinely in love with the hunk.
