Charles and Camilla drawn towards 'Mystic India'

     London: Prince Charles and his wife, Camilla, were reportedly given a traditional Indian welcome when they attended the film premiere of new movie, 'Mystic India' this week. The world charity premiere of the film was held at London's Science Museum, to raise money for the Bhartiya Yuva Shakti Trust which helps unemployed people in India. The royal couple dressed in a yellow jacket and a chiffon skirt with scarlet shawl, walked through the Museum to the cinema, accompanied by traditional Indian dancing and sitar playing. After the screening, The Prince spoke of his affection for India and his desire to take the Duchess there for a visit.

     London: Elizabeth Hurley's boyfriend, Arun Nayar's estranged wife, Valentina Pedroni has accused the actress of stealing her husband. The Italian model spoke of her heartache when she saw pictures of Liz and Nayar, just ten days after they split. "I was so offended. We had only been apart ten days and there they were all over the newspapers," Valentina was quoted by the Sun, as saying. "We had only separated to see if we could resolve our differences. Instead it all happened without any respect or delicacy," she added. Valentina also said that she urged Arun to keep his romance with Liz under wraps when it started three years ago, but claims he ignored her. The millionaire businessman is in the final stages of a divorce with Valentina after which he will be free to tie the knot with Hurley.

JK Rowling looking for biggest Potter fan (Go To Top)

     London: TV bosses are in search of UK's biggest Harry Potter fan who will get an opportunity to interview the author JK Rowling. Reporters have been clamouring to quiz Rowling about the release of her forthcoming book Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince. But the writer has decided to grant her only UK TV interview to a young fan aged between eight and 16. The lucky winner will be among 70 children from around the world invited to Edinburgh Castle to meet the author and their one-to- one interview will be broadcast on ITV1, reports the Daily Mail. Rowling is hosting a Harry Potter weekend to coincide with the publication of the new book on July 16. The 70 children will then spend the weeknd in a special reading room at the Castle and on July 17 will attend a special kids-only press conference with the author. ITV chiefs are now launching a nationwide search for the fan who knows the most about the schoolboy wizard. "This is a fantastic opportunity for a true Harry Potter fan to meet their heroine and find out the answers to questions that they've always wanted to ask her," a spokeswoman said.

Madonna to open a Kabbalah hotel (Go To Top)

     London: Pop diva Madonna has reportedy bought a five-storey 6 million London house which she will convert into a hotel for fellow followers of the Jewish mystical religion Kabbalah. Madonna, who has been a Kabbalah devotee for over 10 years, signed the deeds on the posh West End property, which is just a stones throw away from the home she shares with her husband Guy Ritchie. However, nearby residents are outraged by Madonna's plans and are worried about the guests the site would attract. "Having a Kabbalah centre would be totally inappropriate It is a seriously manipulative sect which is very good at getting people's money, including Madonna's," a resident told Britain's London Evening Standard newspaper. Meanwhile, Madonna has also launched her third children's book based on the Kabbalah teachings.

     London: 'Material Girl' Madonna recently launched her latest children's book, Lotsa de Casha, which comes with the message that money cant buy everything. "Lotsa was by far the richest man in the country - he had everything money could buy," she read to the enthralled audience at New York's Bergdorf Goodman department store, "But there was a teeny, tiny problem. No matter how much money Lotsa de Casha made, he wasn't happy." Madonna also explained that she had been inspired to write the book by her study of the mystical Jewish religion of Kaballah. All profits from the sale of the book would be going to good causes. "People say it's just another one of my guises, but it's much more profound than that," she was quoted by Femalefirst, as saying.

Batman wants to have sex (Go To Top)

     London: Actor Christian Bale who stars in the movie 'Batman Begins' wants to make two versions of the film -one for kids and another aimed at viewers above the age of 17, so that the character Batman can be shown having sex. Bale, 42, reportedly wants to target all kinds of audiences for his latest movie. "I do think there is a lot of room for, like, an R-rated Batman. It's a little bit tricky to broach the sex aspect of the story when you want kids to come see this as well. I mean, we still like for a 12-year-old to come see it and enjoy it. I think it would be very interesting, myself, to do two different cuts of it", The Sun quoted Bale as saying.

     Washington: Hollywood actress Halle Berry is reportedly back with ex beau, Michael Ealy, after repeatedly admitting that she does not want to marry again. Berry had spilt with Ealy earlier this year. Oscar winner, Berry who has had two failed marriages, with Eric Benett and baseball star David Justice, had insisted that she would never wed again, but seems to have changed her mind about marriage since then. "Halle and Michael got back together in late April (05) intent on working out their problems... In the end true love has won out for Halle and Michael", Contactmusic.com quoted a source as saying.

Hopkins voted greatest British actor of all time (Go To Top)

     London: Oscar-winning star Sir Anthony Hopkins has topped a poll to decide Britain's greatest actor of all time. According to the Sun, the 67-year-old, who played serial killer Hannibal Lecter in 'Silence Of The Lambs', beat Shakespearean legend Laurence Olivier to top the poll conducted by wine firm Mouton Cadet. Bond star Dame Judi Dench was voted the greatest British actress, followed by Julie Walters and Elizabeth Taylor at second and third places respectively.
