    London: Paris Hilton has expressed her doubts over Britney Spears' parental skills and believes that the pop diva may not turn out to be a good mom. The hotel heiress, who got engaged to shipping heir Paris Latsis recently, has reportedly said that she will be a "way better mother" than Britney. According to the Daily Star, Hilton, who is alleged to be pregnant, insists that taking care of her pet dog 'Tinkerbell' she has taught her how to look after a child. Britney's baby is due in November.

Tom Cruise's 'love tracker' to ensure Katie's safety (Go To Top)

     London: Actor Tom Cruise has reportedly gifted fiancie Katie Holmes a mobile phone fitted with a tracking device to ensure she is safe all the time, and to enable him locate her whereabouts. According to Femalefirst, Cruise, 42, wanted Katie to have the device, which has a GPS - Global Positioning System - satellite tracking aid, to "keep her safe at all times". The couple got engaged after the heartthrob actor proposed to her at the top of the Eiffel Tower in Paris on June 17.

     London: 'Pirates of the Caribbean' actress Keira Knightley has been named the hottest acting talent in Britain, according to a recent poll. According to the Sun, in the poll conducted by British Film, 'Titanic' beauty Kate Winslet was voted the second hottest star, followed by 'The Terminal' actress Catherine Zeta Jones and 'Bridget Jones' star Hugh Grant.

Sarah Michelle Gellar to play 'Alice' (Go To Top)

     Washington: Sarah Michelle Gellar is reportedly all set to star in Universal Pictures' movie 'Alice', which is based on the Electronic Arts video game 'American McGee's Alice'. The film tells the story of Alice, whose parents are killed in a fire, leaving her in an asylum attempting to deal with the traumas of her youth. It also includes the Queen of Hearts and other characters like the White Rabbit and the Mock Turtle. According to Zap2It quoting the Hollywood Reporter, Erich and Jon Hoeber are adapting the script, which is based on Lewis Carroll's 'Alice in Wonderland' novels, and is to be directed by Marcus Nispel.

     London: Spanish beauty Penelope has reportedly bared all for an Italian film. According to the Sun, the Vanilla Sky actress did a topless scene for the Italian film Don't Move. In the movie Cruz plays a hard-up patient who has a steamy fling with her upper-crust doctor.

Hugh Jackman to star in Woody Allen's comedy (Go To Top)

     Washington: 'X-Men' actor Hugh Jackman has inked a deal to star in Woody Allen's upcoming comedy film. According to Zap2It, Allen told Variety that the film focuses on a visiting American student who has an affair with a British aristocrat. It will be shot in London next week and also features Scarlett Johansson, Ian McShane and Allen himself, who plays an American entertainer.

Victoria Beckham makes it to the movies (Go To Top)

     London: Former Spice Girl, Victoria Beckham, has finally made it to the movies, by landing herself a meaty role in the film 'Alan Partridge: The Movie'. The film, which will be released in 2007, brings the fictional radio DJ Alan Patridge back on air. Victoria Beckham will play the diva, whose part calls for a serious comic timing, and is interviewed by Alan Patridge. "The scripts for Partridge are obviously under wraps and writing is still in progress, but Victoria's part is pretty much done and dusted. She'll be the interviewee that finally allows Alan back on the airwaves with an incendiary chat and her part calls for some serious comic timing. She'll add glamour to the project and prove she's able to take the p**s with the rest of them, it's a brilliant move for her", Fox News quoted a source as telling ITV.com.

     London: Michael Schumacher's Ferrari has been withdrawn from auction on ebay as it failed to generate the asking price. The highest bid for the Formula 1 champion's specially equipped Ferrari 550 Maranello went nothing beyond 50,000 pounds, which was a lot lesser than even the price the Pope's old car fetched. Pope Benedict's old Volkswagen was auctioned for 126,360 pounds, even though the Pope himself had never driven it. According to Fox News, eBay officials have confirmed that the Ferrari has been dropped from the auction.

Women prefer Mozzart, men rap during love making (Go To Top)

     London: A poll has revealed that women like listening to Mozart while they make love while men would prefer to listen to rap music. Nearly a third of girls opted for the classical genius in a magazine poll by the German editions of Glamour and GQ magazines. The rest settled for The Beatles, the strains of soft rock - or silence. One in three lads said they preferred to hear rappers like Eminem and 50 Cent. Others chose new wave bands like The Jam, Brit Pop giants Oasis, or total silence in the poll. Eleven per cent of both sexes chose music by reggae legend Bob Marley.

     London: America's US Weekly magazine has claimed that Sandra Bullock will tie the knot with boyfriend and TV presenter Jesse James in a secret ceremony a month from now. However, the 40-year-old actress who has been dating James for over a year now, has been denying rumours of marriage, which started circulating about a year ago when James proposed to her. "Why is marriage the pinnacle for everyone? People get married for the wrong reasons. We need to start looking at different kinds of union, whether it's living with someone, or being with six partners", Femalefirst quoted Sandra, as saying.

     London: Cold Play frontman Chris Martin and Radio head lead singer Thom Yorke are the hottest contenders for the coveted 'World's Sexiest Vegetarian' crown. The two have forged ahead, of stars like Peter Andre Anthony Kiedis, Bryan Adams, Damon Albarn, Paul McCartney and Prince, in the male category of PETA's (PEOPLE FOR THE ETHICAL TREATMENT OF ANIMALS) meat-free poll. Meanwhile, Avril Lavigne, Natalie Imbruglia, Chrissie Hynde, Annie Lennox and Joan Jett are competing to be the ultimate queen of green in the female category, reports ratethemusic.com. PETA released a statement on their official website: "Vegetarians are sprouting up all over Hollywood! Going green is all the rage among the red carpet set, as more and more celebs are embracing broccoli and giving beef the boot.      Washington: Oscar-winning actress Nicole Kidman reportedly receives anonymous and strange letters from men wanting to father her children. The actress is so fed up that she refuses to talk in public about her desire to start a family. "If I go down this territory I end up with headlines and then I get letters from people offering to be the father of my child. I'm like, but I don't know you! I haven't responded", Contactmusic.com quoted her as saying.

     London: Model and TV Presenter Lisa Snowdon has finally split with boyfriend George Clooney after they decided that their relationship had reached its end. The couple, who had met in 2000 on a martini advert, dated on and off for a year as their long distance relationship was not working. They had rekindled their relationship last May, and finally broke off a fortnight ago. "It's always difficult to maintain a long distance relationship. They have remained great friends and there is no animosity between them. "Lisa last saw George in LA at the beginning of May. They spoke on the phone regularly but they began to realise that the relationship had nowhere to go", The Mirror quoted a Hollywood source as saying.
