Harry Potter's autograph can lead to school suspension (Go To Top)

     London: 'Harry Potter' star Rupert Grint can no longer sign autographs for his school friends, according to new rules implemented by his school authorities. The 17-year-old, who plays Ron Weasley in the series, was besieged by other pupils at Richard Hale School in Hertford, following which the school banned students from asking for his autograph. According to sources, anybody who asks for Grint's autograph risks detention. "All the other kids were really proud of him and were asking him about the movies. Senior staff held an assembly warning pupils not to bother Rupert. Anybody flouting the rules gets a lesson long detention," The Sun quoted a source as saying.

James Hewitt confesses to affair with Diana (Go To Top)

     London: Former army Major James Hewitt has confessed for the first time that he was having an affair with late Princess Diana in 1982 - just months after her marriage to Prince Charles. Hewitt, who previously had always insisted that they didn't start romancing until after 1985, made the shocking revealation while under hypnosis for a new television documentary. The former major wept as he talked about the Princess of Wales, and told interviewer Rob Butler that they first kissed in 1981 or 1982, and then became intimate soon after. Hewitt claimed that Diana, who died in a car accident in Paris in 1997 with boyfriend Dodi Fayed, was sad and lonely and wanted to settle down with him. "She thought she'd make a very good Army wife. It wasn't possible to do that. I think it was a dream...She was happy when she was staying with me in Devon," femalefirst quoted Hewitt as saying.

     London: Rationalists may never buy the tales of close encounters of the third kind with aliens, but superstar pop icon Robbie Williams, not only believes that there are many galactic cousins of ours somewhere up there, but also is sure that their visit to earth is imminent. He claims that he has been having vivid dreams of experiences with aliens almost every night, and has told kids that the next seven years will see the arrival of our elusive siblings. "I've been dreaming about UFOs every night. I can't wait to go to sleep at night because those dreams have been so brilliant. "I think they are definitely on their way, seriously. Mark my words. From now until 2012 - watch out kids," The Sun quoted him, as saying.

     London: England cricket superstar Andrew Flintoff has finally revealed the secret of his Ashes heroics. But strangely, it is nothing to do with any cricketing skills he might have acquired overnight, but more with English author Robert Louis Stevenson's protagonist in "Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde" He claimed that a mind guru transformed him from the 'Gentle Giant' Andrew, which he is at home to his wife Rachael and daughter Molly, to the mad- for-it Freddie on the field, in much the similar way Dr Jekyll transformed into Mr Hyde, reports The Sun.

Serial flirts are made in the mother's womb (Go To Top)

     London: Men who have lots of lovers are exposed to high levels of male hormones in their mother's womb, according to a new study They claim the level of testosterone a baby boy is exposed to in the womb determines how sexually promiscuous he will be. The higher the testosterone level, the more sexual partners he will have. Psychologist Johannes Honekopp found these men may be more successful with women because early exposure to hormones may make them more sexually attractive, reports the Mirror. Mr Honekopp of Chemnitz University, Germany, used the "second to fourth finger ratio" theory. "Men who are exposed to higher levels of testosterone in the womb have ring fingers that are significantly longer still than their index fingers," he said.

Portia De Rossi says she's prudish over nudity (Go To Top)

     Washington: Actress Portia De Rossi, who stripped off in 1994 movie 'Sirens', has said 'no' to nude scenes in her forthcoming projects. The star said that she never felt comfortable doing nude scenes in films, and therefore, has decided never to strip off again. "I have (done them) in the past, which is how I discovered I just didn't want to do them. I really don't think it's because I'm gay; I just find it way too compromising," Contactmusic quoted her as saying. Rossi insisted that she didn't like sex scenes anymore, and has also decided not to kiss her co-stars on screen. "I don't want to kiss somebody I don't want to kiss... I don't even like watching sex scenes in movies. I have a slight prudish side to me," she said.

Renee's hubby's aversion to kids caused their split (Go To Top)

     London: Actress Renee Zellweger has claimed that she decided to divorce her husband of four months because he did not share her dreams of starting a family. The Bridget Jones star was reportedly shocked when she came to know that her country singer husband Kenny Chesney does not want children. "She's an old-fashioned girl and wanted to start a family as soon as the wedding dress was in the wardrobe," the Sun quoted a source as saying. "She thought Kenny felt the same way, but it didn't take her long to realise the dream was over," the source added. Meanwhile Chesney, 37, who is said to be struggling to cope with the split, has requested the people for privacy to enable the couple to come to terms with the trauma that the event has caused in their lives. "This is an incredibly sad time. I just hope everyone can respect the privacy that I know Renee has asked for," the paper quoted him as saying.

Eva Herzigova floored by Madonna's hubby's charms (Go To Top)

     London: It seems Eva Herzigova has the hots for British producer Guy Ritchie, as the 'Wonder bra' woman finds him very attractive and also describes him as 'the perfect man'. The supermodel, who can soon be seen in the contemporary version of Oscar Wilde's classic,'Dorian Gray', is full of praise for Madonna's husband, who she claims is perfect marriage and parent material. "Guy Ritchie is definitely the most attractive man in Britain," Femalefirst quoted her as saying. "He's just so tall and classy and he dresses well. He's also the best family man: It looks like he's really good with the kids. Basically, he's the perfect man, but there's one problem: he's married to Madonna," she added. The stunning model, who always carried a passion for acting, has admitted that she would love to work in one of his films. "I'd love to do more acting, maybe in one of Guy's films," she said.

Life's looking good for Michael Jackson  (Go To Top)

     London: Former King of pop Michael Jackson has finally broken his silence, three-month after being cleared of child abuse. "I am feeling good," the singer was quoted by The Sun,as saying Jackson, who is busy working on a charity song for victims of Hurricane Katrina also revealed that the trial "was the hardest thing I've ever done in my life." He said he was "resting and recovering" from the five-month case as a guest of the King of Bahrain's son Prince Abdullah. The superstar said of the prince, "He's the very best, amazing, so kind." Jacko also said that he wanted the charity single From The Bottom Of My Heart to follow the success of the 1984 hit We Are The World, which he co-wrote to aid the starving in Africa.
