Emmy award winner Hugh Jackman has been voted the most
suitable actor to play the next James Bond in a new poll
by online DVD rental house Netflix. The 'Van Helsing' star,
who got 26 percent votes in his favour, beat out the competition
from 'Closer' star Clive Owen and Ewan McGregor, who got
21 and 16 percent votes respectively. According to Zap2It,
Jude Law (14 percent), Orlando Bloom (6 percent) and Heath
Ledger (3 percent) also feaured in the list. Top six actors
to play James Bond are: 1. Hugh Jackman 2. Clive Owen 3.
Ewan McGregor 4. Jude Law 5. Orlando Bloom 6. Heath Ledger

'Sex and the City' actress Sarah Jessica Parker has
been voted the richest woman in New York, with annual earnings
of approximately 21 million pounds. According to femalefirst,
Parker beat fashion designer Kimora Lee Simmons and supermodel
Gisele Bundchen to top the list of the wealthiest females
in the 'New York' magazine poll. She earns more than twice
as much as the other actress on the list, including Hollywood
actress Nicole Kidman, who tops the box office with 83 million
pounds a year. Kidman is followed by fellow actress Kirsten
Dunst at 44 million pounds, and Meryl Streep at 28 million
pounds, whereas former US President Bill Clinton's daughter
Chelsea is at the bottom of the celebrity scale. Top three

Soccer star David Beckham's ex secretary Rebecca Loos
is not ready to let the controversy of her affair with the
footballer, die down so easily, as now the seductress will
be reportedly shooting with a Beckham look alike for a steamy
calendar. The explicit photographs are set to show what
she and the 30- year-old England captain got up to during
their fling. Loos has approached top look alikes snapper
Alison Jackson and asked her to take the shots. Jackson
is famed for her pictures of Charles and Camilla lookalikes.
"Rebecca and Jackson discussed pictures to re-enact their
romps. The calender would most likely include 12 different
sexual poses outlining favourite positions," a source was
quoted by The Sun, as saying. Loos, 26, claims she began
a three-month affair with Becks in September 2003. "He did
things to me he wouldn't have dared to ask his wife for,"
he added.

Italian hunks have always made women worldwide drool
with their perfectly bronzed bods, but when it comes to
their women, their Spanish counterparts have always held
sway over them. But not so for 'Die Hard' dater Bruce Willis,
who says that it is difficult to find defects in Italian
women. Willis, who was in Italy recently to help select
'Miss Italy' from a bevy of bikini clad beauties, confessed
that he was besotted by the "elegance and grace" of Italian
women, and that as far as he was concerned, they had no
defects. "Italian women don't have any defects," Hello magazine
quoted him, as saying.

the first of its kind. And the dubious honour for setting
this new trend must go to 'Monster' star Charlize Theron,
who found this ingenious way to show her appreciation for
legendary star, Shirley MacLaine. But the positive fallout
of the act, which Charlize claims was due to painkillers
she was taking to combat an aching neck, was that it may
have just struck off a budding new friendship between the
two unlikeliest people. "It was a combination of my painkillers
and the fact that everybody was paying tribute to this incredible
woman, this incredible actress, so I had to go to the physical
aspect of kissing her a**," Contact music quoted Theron,
as saying. "She loved it. She said it was the best she's
had all year," she added. And MacLaine confessed that the
odd act made her realise she needs to hang out with Theron.
"I've gotta get to know her... I should get drunk with her,"
she said. Theron, was honoured alongside MacLaine and Lindsay
Lohan at the Hollywood bash.

plans to settle in Mumbai (Go

After the controversy surrounding her fledgling Bollywood
career following hot kissing scenes in film `Nazar', and
the subsequent death threats from religious fundamentalists
from her home country, Pakistani film actress Meera has
finally decided to settle in Mumbai. She says by settling
in Mumbai, she would be able to focus more on her career.
"I'm so happy with Bollywood that I want to focus on Bollywood
projects more and more.....Bollywood films have more of
an international market," The News quoted her as saying
over telephone from Dubai. Meera said her parents had been
worried about her move. But, she added, "I convinced them
that I'm a working woman and I'd be fine." The starlet's
decision has evoked different reactions from among the Indian
and Pakistani societies. According to the London-based newspaper
The Independent, while some in India hailed her move as
"evidence of the thaw in relations" between India and Pakistan,
in Pakistan it would not be seen that way. The paper added
that the ordinary Pakistanis have not reacted well to scenes
of some of their biggest stars living the high life in India's
entertainment-cum-financial capital, with cricketer Shoaib
Akhtar, in particular, attracting opprobrium for spending
much time in the city.

Supermodel Kate Moss is now facing the consequences
of her stint with cocaine. Three big fashion houses have
reportedly dumped the model from their campaigns. Kate has
got the axe from Chanel, Burberry and Gloria Vanderbilt,
as police chief Sir Ian Blair backed the decision to investigate
her drug abuse. Their move comes a day after clothes giant
H&M scrapped Kate's #1million contract. But Rimmel, Christian
Dior, H Stern and Fred Paris all pledged to stand by the
star. Metropolitan Police Commissioner Sir Ian said he was
involved in the decision to probe Kate's drug use after
Mirror revelations she snorted five lines of cocaine in
40 minutes with lover Pete Doherty in a London record studio.
"We have to look at the impact of this kind of behaviour
on impressionable young people and if there is evidence
something should be done about it. If we have an allegation
about a person who is so much in the public eye and a role
model it seems to me important that we investigate," he
was quoted by The Mirror, as saying. Kate was reportedly
in tears when Chanel told her it would not be renewing her
750,000 pounds-a-year contract as the face of Coco Mademoiselle
perfume. Chanel's Julie Le Blevec said: "Kate has a contract
until the end of October. We are not planning to stop the
adverts before then." The firm insisted the axe had nothing
to do with drug abuse. "Bosses do not want the risk of this
happening again. Kate has been great for them but enough
is enough and the end has come," a source said.

Actress Sienna Miller has agreed to stick by her love
cheat boyfriend Jude Law only if he abides by her laws.
Friends of the 'As You Like It' actress have revealed that
Miller has penned down six laws, that Jude must follow to
make their relationship work again. And they are: 1) Never
to be unfaithful again2) To stay away from ex-wife Sadie
and her friends3) To romance her again before considering
marriage4) To stop losing his temper5) To let her make her
own career choices6) To let her see her friends when she
wants "Jude has been a changed person since Sienna left
him. While he totally dominated her before, since the allegations
came out and she dumped him he has been totally different,"
a source was quoted by the Daily Mail, as saying. "Sienna
believes in monogamy and will not stand for him cheating.
And she has told him that he has to control his temper,
as he often used to shout at her and she will not take it
anymore," he added. Insiders say Jude has also been asked
to make a list of every woman he has slept with. When reports
came out that Kate Moss has had sex with Jude, Sienna was
said to be angry as she wasn't on Jude's confessional list.

Hollywood hunk Brad Pitt and his ladylove Angelina Jolie
reportedly took a family trip, with the latter's kids at
a posh holiday resort in Dubai. The four of them stayed
at the luxurious seven-star Burj al-Arab in Dubai, staying
seven nights in the 7,000 pound-a-night Royal Suite. Brad,
Angelina and her adopted kids Zahara and Maddox flew from
his home in America to the Arabian Gulf state in a private
jet. The photogenic pair were spotted entertaining Maddox
and Zahara at the Wild Wadi Waterpark and seen dining in
the hotel's underwater restaurant. Angelina has also been
indulging in the La Prairie spa beauty treatments on offer
there. "They arrived looking like the perfect family unit.
Even though it's a long flight from the US, Angelina looked
stunning from the moment she stepped off the jet," an insider
was quoted by the Mirror, as saying. "This is the perfect
place for them to come on holiday - there are virtually
no paparazzi and the hotel is super private. It's on its
own little man-made island just off the coast, so no one
can get in without security knowing about it. Just to get
in to the foyer costs non-guests #15," he added.
