Kochi:Indian and Sri Lankan models walked the ramp in a fashion show here over the weekend.
Designer Hari Anand from Kochi and New York-based designer Patti Stren together
showcased their 2011 collection. The event organiser said the show was an ideal
opportunity to enter the fashion market of Kerala. "We were actually waiting for
an opportunity to come to Kerala in a big way and then we got right opportunity
to come to Kerala with the Fashion TV (FTV) show. We thought that FTV being one
of the brands in fashion, we are associated with Hari Anand and Patti Stren to
showcase their 2011 collection," said Jay Chandran, organiser of the fashion show.
The main theme of the show was black and white outfits. Some of the top models
that walked the ramp are Candice Pinto, Maria Magdalena, Antony Fernando and Marian Disanekar from Sri Lanka.
