UK firm offering ‘get a waist like Kate’ liposuction treatment

London: A plastic surgery firm has used the Duchess of Cambridge to promote its liposuction treatments. “The Duchess of Cambridge’s tiny waist and waspish shape has become the envy of many women across the UK,” the Daily Mail quoted the firm MYA (which stands for ‘Make Yourself Amazing’) as saying on its website. It continues that although “Kate, 30, has said in the past that a healthy and balanced diet and sensible exercise regime is behind her slim and athletic figure... even these traditional methods of keeping your body in shape don’t work for all women.” It then goes on to cite recent statistics from the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery revealing that liposuction “which can help with stubborn areas of fat that can’t be eradicated through the above techniques” is the most common plastic surgery procedure requested by the 35 to 50 age group. The website also carries some slightly less regal endorsements - from The Only Way is Essex’s Lauren Goodyear: “I’m loving the new me thanks to MYA” to Big Brother’s Imogen Thomas: “Looks great feels amazing...”
