New Delhi:After wrestler Alka Tomar bagged a gold medal in the 59-kg freestyle event, wrestler
Anita won a 19th gold for India on the fifth day of the XIXth Commonwealth Games in women's 67kg freestyle event here today. She defeated Canadian M. Buydens 4-1.
Earlier today, wrestler Alka Tomar bagged a gold medal in the 59-kg freestyle
event defeating Canadian wrestler Tonya Verbeek 3-2. Nigerian Tega Tosin Richard
won the bronze in the same event, defeating England's Louisa Bernadette Salmon
5-0. Ace shooter Vijay Kumar had earlier today won gold in 25m Rapid Fire Pistol
shooting. Kumar shot 787.5, while India's Gurpreet Singh claimed bronze in the
same event shooting 758.7.
