Kochi ODI between India and Australia washed out in heavy rain
Kochi: The first One-Day International between India and Australia has been abandoned due to heavy rains that took place in the wee hours here on Sunday. It has been raining
in the port city since last Thursday, which had also resulted in practice sessions
of both the teams being washed out. The two teams had arrived here on Thursday
after the Bangalore Test, which India won by seven wickets to sweep the series
2-0. India had also won the first Test at Mohali. The next ODI will be played
at Visakhapatnam on October 20.
