Security forces kill one ultra in J-K as Sopore encounter continues
Sopore (J-K):Security personnel are engaged in an encounter with militants in Sopore area of Jammu and Kashmir in
which at least one militant has been killed. It all started after following a
specific information about the presence of heavily armed militants, a joint team
of police and 22 Rashtriya Rifle personnel laid a siege around Ahad Bab Mohalla,
in Sopore, this evening and engaged the holed up militants in an encounter. “The
encounter is still on,” said a J-K Police release on Sunday evening.
