Maoists blow up culvert in Bihar district, one killed
Rohtas:One person, suspected to be a Naxalite, was killed as Maoists blew up a culvert at Boulia under the Nauhatta Police Station in Bihar's Rohtas District today. According to sources, over 75 militants gathered at the spot and triggered off a landmine blast. The blast site falls under the Chenari constituency, which is going to polls in the sixth and final phase of Assembly election on November 20. Security forces are combing area in search of the Maoists. In Gaya, the Bihar police have recovered three can bombs reportedly planted by Maoists inside a high school building in Kathak Bigaha village in the state's Gaya district. Rakesh Kumar, Assistant Commander, Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) said that if the bomb had exploded, it could have demolished the building.
