Praveen Kumar to marry childhood friend Sapna in Meerut
Meerut (Uttar Pradesh):Indian pace bowler Praveen Kumar will tie the nuptial knot with his childhood friend Sapna Chaudhary at a ceremony to be held here on Thursday. The two recently got
engaged on November 7. Interacting with the mediapersons, Vinay Kumar, brother
of Praveen Kumar, said that the entire function would be a simple affair. "The
main thing is that Praveen does not like too much of pomp and show. Nor does he
appreciate showing off. The whole function would be very simple. We are paying
special attention so that our relatives, guests and friends do not have to face
any hassles," said Vinay Kumar. About 3,000 people are supposed to attend the
wedding. The date was finalised as November 18, keeping in mind the upcoming One
Day International (ODI) series against the touring New Zealand team that starts
from December 1. Most of the Indian cricketers are likely to miss the wedding,
as team India will face New Zealand in the third and final test on November 20.
