List of Indian Haj pilgrims dead, injured or missing in Mina-Mecca stampede
NEW DELHI: The Ministry of External Affairs, Government of India, has released updated lists of Indians killed, injured or missing in last Thursday's stampede in Mecca-Mina in Saudi Arabia during the Haj pilgrimage. The latest list put out on October 1 is based on information provided to the Indian Haj Mission.
The Ministry of External Affairs had announced emergency helpline numbers for Indian nationals following the Haj stempede near Mecca (Makkah) on the day of mishap in which about 800 of the several lakhs of pilgrims gathered there from all over the world died.

The Indian mission in Jeddah has been monitoring the situation following the stampede.
External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj has said the Government would provide all help to the Indian nationals affected by the stampede. Indian officials were sent to the site of the disaster soon after the tragedy.
