Lists of Indian Haj pilgrims died or injured in Mina-Mecca stampede in Saudi Arabia
NEW DELHI: The Ministry of External Affairs has issued LATEST lists of deceased, injured and missing Indian pilgrims after the Mina stampede, as on October 8, 2015.
The latest figure of deaths due to stampede at Haj pilgrimmage in Mina near Mecca in Saudi Arabia has been put at 1,453 by media. The figures compiled by
the Associated Press is nearly twice the official Saudi estimate. The tally, reported by Saudi Arabia as 769, makes it the deadliest mishap ever during the
annual Haj pilgrimage.
Hundreds of people are still presumed missing weeks after the deadly September 24 stampede.
