Kareena Kapoor to act in Mansoor film, goes to Dubai to sign contract next week
KARACHI: Bollywood actress Kareena Kapoor Khan will star in Pakistani director Shoaib Mansoor's upcoming movie. Kareena will visit Dubai next week to meet Mansoor and sign the contract, according to reports.
The rumours were confirmed by Kareena's spokesperson in a statement. Mansoor had e-mailed his concept to the 'Bajrangi Bhaijaan' star and she liked the role, but wanted to see the script before confirming, according to Express Tribune.
Rumours have been floating for quite some time that Kareena will star in a Pak movie but now it has been confiirmed.
Kareena had in the past expressed the desire to work with Mansoor remarking that his ventures are fantastically content-centric and that he is a "wonderful filmmaker.” Thereafter, the Pak director had visited India.
Expected to go on floor early next year, the Pak film will cast the Indian star in the leading heroine role that is likely to be a box office hit across borders.
Kareena will make the announcement herself in her inaugural tweet after next week anytime.
