NEW DELHI: Veenu Paliwal, India's top woman biker, was killed in a road accident on Lucknow-Bhopal highway on Monday. Paliwal lost control of her Harley Davidson motorbike and fell.

The accident took place near Gyarapur, 100 km from Madhya Pradesh Capital Bhopal. Known as the 'Lady of the Harley', Veenu Paliwal, 44, lost control of her Harley Davidson motorbike when it skidded at a sharp turn. She died in a hospital near Vidisha.

She was on a trip from Kashmir to Kanyakumari with companion Deepesh Tanwar on another bike. The accident took place on the Lucknow-Bhopal leg of the trip.
