Army soldier goes missing on way to Ladakh
Srinagar:An Indian solider has been reported missing for the past three months in Ladakh. Army sources have been quoted by a television channel as saying that 27-year-old Army jawan Alok Nath Ghosh had gone to visit his parents in Birbhum in West Bengal and was heading back to his unit in Ladakh when he went missing. The sources said that Ghosh had boarded a train to Chandigarh and called home on reaching there on July 26th. But a week later, Ghosh's unit at Pratappur telephoned his parents saying their son had not reported back from his leave. Since early August, his father has been frantically trying to find how his son went missing. The family has been running from pillar to post for information on their missing son. They have now sought the help of the President of India.
