Banka (Bihar):
Maoists blew up a state-run primary school in Gerua village in Bihar's
Banka district on Wednesday morning. According to police, the incident took place at
around 2:30 am. A group of Maoists surrounded the building and used dynamite to trigger
the blast. The roof of the three-room school caved in due to the explosion. Senior
officials are at the site and a search operation is underway for those responsible
for the blast.
