Trinamool Congress demands dismissal of Buddhadeb Govt
Kolkata: Trinamool Congress (TMC) demanded expulsion of the ruling Communist government here on Tuesday. TMC activists alleged that the government led by Communist party of India (Marxist) -CPI (M)-was masterminding violence across the state. The TMC and the CPI (M) workers had clashed in Khanakul region of Hooghly on October 11 during which bombs were hurled. Union Railway Minister and TMC Chief Mamata Banerjee had charged state Chief Minister Buddhadeb Bhattacharjee with orchestrating the attack on her party workers. Banerjee also alleged that a legislator of Khanakul region Bansi Badan Moitra had himself shot at TMC workers. Madan Mitra, All- India youth wing chief of the TMC, demanded immediate dismissal of the Communist government in the State.
