Satara-bound train derails at Mumbai's CST station
Mumbai: Two coaches of a Satara-bound train entering the Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus (CST) derailed outside platform number six here this morning. Nobody was injured, a railway source said. The train was moving at slow speed when the coaches jumped the tracks. The
incident took place at 7:15 a.m. in the accident, said a Central Railway spokesperson.
Following this accident,
the other local trains are also running late. On Wednesday, five coaches of a
local from Kalyan entering CST also derailed, but no one was injured in the mishap.
The same day, eight coaches of Mysore-Ajmer Express derailed near Pune, injuring
five passengers.
