16 bogies of oil tanker train go up in flames in Assam
Mariani (Assam):The tanker train had left the Numaligarh refinery for Uttar Pradesh and was between the Bhilgaon and Borpathar stations when it caught fire. The fire is still raging on the tanker train. The track has been dented, so it will take some time for train services to recommence. Train services to and from Upper Assam have been delayed due to the fire. The passengers who were supposed to travel by the Kamrup Express, the Brahmaputra Mail and other trains have got back a refund on their tickets. Passengers travelling by Rajdhani Express have been moved towards their respective destinations.
