Govt probes how 26/11 terror suspects obtained Indian visas: Krishna
New Delhi: External Affairs Minister S M Krishna today said that the government has begun its investigation on how the 26/11 terror suspects David Headley and Tahawwur Hussain Rana managed to get Indian visas. The matter
is being looked at very carefully said Krishna, surprised at how the visa was
granted to Headley by Indian Consulate General in Chicago without clearance from
the Home Ministry. The issues of cross- border terrorism and occurrence of terrorist
activities from the neighbouring countries has shocked the regional economic engagement
progression, he added.
