Lucknow (Uttar Pradesh):Uttar Pradesh Principal Secretary (Housing) committed suicide here on Saturday. Harminder Raj Singh, Principal Secretary (Housing) in the State government, shot himself in the head with his personal weapon at his residence on Vikramaditya Marg. Singh was a 1978 batch Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer. Some people claim that the IAS officer was under a lot of mental pressure owing to
political interference in his work.
