Twenty killed, several injured in West Bengal bus mishap
Uluberia (West Bengal):At least twenty people were killed and several others injured in a high-speed collision between a bus and a truck in Uluberia in West Bengal on Sunday. According to sources, the accident took place when the bus, plying from Howrah to Gadiara, collided head-on with the trailer, which suddenly veered to the wrong side of National Highway Six near Mahisrekha Bridge in the Uluberia area. Railway Minister Mamata Banerjee and Minister of State for Shipping Mukul Rai rushed to the spot immediately. " Many injured passengers died due to lack of proper treatment. In this situation, only thing that can be done is setting up of camps outside the hospital. We have informed the authorities to do the needful for injured," said Mukul Rai.
