Madani refutes wife's LeT connection
New Delhi:People's Democratic Party chief Abdul Nasir Madani has denied the allegations against his wife Sufiya of having connections with Lashkar-e-Toiba (LeT) terror outfit. In an interview to a news channel, Madani said his wife might have attended to the calls of Nazeer, the man suspected to be the Lashkar South India Commander. Madani added that personally his wife had no bonds with the LeT outfit, and that many people contacted her on the phone while he was in jail. "How can she identify somebody's a terrorist? Many people will contact saying things like 'ustaad will come, don't worry'. She is just attending the phone," Madani said coming to his wife's rescue.
