Los Angeles:Los Angeles Galaxy footballers David Beckham and Landon Donovan will face a disciplinary probe following a bust-up with FC Dallas players after their 6-3 defeat at Home
Depot Center in California. The incident took place after when Donovan and Beckham
were involved in a brawl with Dallas midfielder David Ferreira and defender Daniel
Hernandez. According to reports, Donovan had kicked out at Ferreira and received
a shove from Hernandez, following which Beckham joined them as he raced over to
grab Hernandez by the neck. All the players had to be separated by their coaches.
"It would have been better if we had shown that fire in the game," The Sun quoted
Bruce Arena, LA Galaxy head coach, as saying. Beckham could face a harsh punishment
in the disciplinary probe, as he has already been sent off once this season.
