Amitabh Bachchan promotes his latest movie 'Teen Patti' in Gurgaon
Gurgaon (Haryana): Bollywood actor Amitabh Bachchan promoted his forthcoming movie 'Teen Patti' here on Monday. Addressing media persons, he said:
"I play a mathematics professor, who is doing a thesis on the theory of probability,
and by accident by playing a computer game, he realises his theory can be utilised
in a game of cards. He shares this with his colleague, Madhavan, Madhavan shares
it with four or five students that you see here, and they go to test this theory
practically. And when they test it practically, it works and they make a lot of
money". Set in India and England, the film pairs Bachchan with the Academy
Award-winning actor, Sir Ben Kingsley. Bachchan also shares the stage with fellow
actors R Madhavan and Siddharth Kher, along with newcomers Dhruv Ganesh,
Vaibhav Talwar and Shraddha
Kapoor. Brothers Salim and Sulaiman Merchant have composed the film's music to
lyrics written by Irfan Siddique, Asif Ali Beg and Ajinkya Iyer. The film is directed
by Leena Yadav and produced by Ambika Hinduja under the banner of Hinduja
Ventures. 'Teen Patti' will be released in cinemas on February 26.
