Jharkhand police arrest three persons with hundreds of detonators
Hazaribagh (Jharkhand): Jharkhand police recovered a huge cache of detonators with the arrest of three persons on Friday. The recovery was made in Hazaribagh district after the police
got a tip off that some people were going to supply explosives. "Police had got
the information that some people were going to supply explosives and they were
intercepted on the way while they were on a motorcycle. We recovered 900 electronic
detonators from them," said Pankaj Kamboz, superintendent of police, Hazaribagh
district. Detonators are usually used in stone quarries and since the region is
Maoist infested the police said they feared that the explosives would have reached
the ultras.
