Mumbai's local trains badly hit by motormen strike
Mumbai: The strike called by the Railway motormen for a better pay, caused a lot of trouble for daily commuters, as all the local trains running in Mumbai have been cancelled. It has been reported that around 40 motormen have been admitted
to the hospitals, as they had gone on a hunger strike to get their demands fulfilled.
The railways, meanwhile, have issued an advisory to the passengers asking them
to travel by express trains. There are reports that the talks with the striking
workers are still on.
