| August 15, 2010 | Body of Danish national handed over to Embassy authorities in Leh | | Leh: The body of Henrietee Borg Kristensen, a Denmark national, has been handed over to authorised persons at Camp Leh after proper identification by the representatives of Royal Danish Embassy and completing all legal formalities.
The body is being airlifted to New Delhi. He died in Skiu Markha Tracking Route
in Leh during the cloud burst incident that was followed by flash floods and left
the town devastated. Meanwhile, flash flood death toll has risen to 176 out of
which 156 dead bodies have been identified so far and 20 are still unidentified. | |
