Leopard attacks villagers, forest officials near Ranthambore National Park

     Tonk (Rajasthan): A leopard attacked villagers in Tonk district of India's northwestern Rajasthan state on Friday (November 26), injuring eight locals, including forest officials from Ranthambore National Park. As per the forest officials, the leopard lost its way and entered the village. As soon as the locals saw the leopard, they informed the forest officials. When the officials went to catch the leopard, the leopard attacked them. The forest officials and the villagers tried to tranquilize the leopard thrice, but were unsuccessful.
