is often called the paradise for honeymooners. "A week before we got married and
then we thought let's celebrate it and leave it upto God, who has made in such
a way that we never thought of. So, now we are here in this beautiful part of
the world," said Vikas Gupta, a tourist from Delhi. Himachal Pradesh tourism development
says the business in the state was witnessing boom despite of the global financial
meltdown. "We are getting a better number although we were expecting that downfall
in the market will affect us but the trend as it is going, we are not finding

Behal, general manager of the Himachal Pradesh tourism development. Right from
adventure sports like paragliding, river rafting, skiing, trekking, mountaineering,
ice-skating to relaxing and sightseeing, Manali gives its tourists a wide range
