Only half of the runway was being used due to repair. The plane landed on shortened

The aircraft made the landing at the Mumbai airport reportedly despite DGCA warning.
The incident is stated to have happened due to poor visibility and wet conditions.
The DGCA had earlier warned all airlines not to operate in adverse conditions.
Kingfisher, as per reports, has de-rosterd both the pilots of the aircraft, pending investigation. |
