Ballabgarh (Haryana): A notorious tiger poacher wanted by several central and state agencies, Bheema was arrested in an joint operation by police and other agencies late on Tuesday evening near Ballabgarh in Haryana. Bheema was allegedly running a tiger poaching racket in the country. He was apprehended in a joint operation led by the Wildlife Crime Control Bureau (WCCB), Gurgaon police and other agencies. Bheema was absconding since July 2008, and was subsequently declared a proclaimed offender. The joint operation team also recovered tiger bones, body parts, several traps and implements from his Gurgaon house.
