Jet Airways pilots strike ends on agreement

     Mumbai: The five-day old Jet Airways pilots' strike was called off upon an agreement reached between the management and the striking pilots on Saturday night. As per the agreement, all the four sacked pilots will be taken back with immediate effect. They iclude the two pilots who were sacked last month which led to the strike and the two who were dismissed during the strike period. As for the contentious issue of permission for the newly formed trade union, the Registrar of Trade Unions' decision will be final, both parties have agreed. All international flights were to resume by midnight and the domestic flights by Sunday noon.
