Tourists welcome chilly weather in Mount Abu

     unt Abu: Mo Chilly weather and cold wave may be disturbing people elsewhere, but it has brought smiles on the faces of tourists in Mount Abu, the hilly town situated on the Aravalli Range of Rajasthan. With a minimum temperature of two degree Celsius, the city remained the coldest place. The steep fall in temperature has thrilled tourists who thronged the place to celebrate New Year. Tourists said that they felt as if they were in Kashmir not in Rajasthan. " The weather is fantastic here and it is cold here. We are feeling that we are in Kashmir not in Rajasthan," said Deviyani Ben, a tourist from Gujarat. "I came here for the first time ...we are enjoying our vacations and we would like to visit the place again," said Vijay, another tourist. Mount Abu is often touted as 'an oasis in the desert' because of its beautiful lakes, waterfalls and evergreen forests. Thousands of Indian as well as foreign tourists have thronged to Rahla fall of of Himachal Pradesh for New Year celebrations. Picturesque valley and bewitching landscapes covered in white snow mesmerised visitors.
