Centre lifts ban on pre-paid mobile phones in Jammu and Kashmir

New Delhi: The Union Home Ministry on Thursday lifted the ban on pre-paid mobile phones in Jammu and Kashmir. According to the Home Ministry, the removal of the ban is with immediate effect. The Home Ministry however, has put stringent conditions on operators for verification of customers.
